Early Days
Michael Thomas Flynn was born in December 1958 in Middletown, Rhode Island. One of nine children, he grew up in a busy, but loving Irish Catholic household, with dad Charles, a former Army sergeant, and mom Helen stressing the importance of education.
Flynn engaged in an array of athletic activities as a child and teenager, from driveway basketball games to surfing. He also excelled in football at Middletown High School, leading the team to a Division B state championship in 1976. He then enrolled at the University of Rhode Island, where he joined the ROTC program and earned a degree in management science in 1981.

Michael Flynn and Lori Flynn (née Andrade) are both from Middletown, R.I., attending the same high school together. While it's unclear when the pair started dating, the duo married in 1981, according to Lori Flynn's Facebook page. Given that they attended the same high school, it's likely they knew each other long before Michael Flynn's time in the military.
Together, the pair raised two children, both boys. As Michael Flynn was in the military for most of their marriage and their sons were raised on military bases, he has previously publicly admitted that Lori Flynn mostly raised their children on her own.

Flynn the Pro-Abortion Catholic
On Saturday, the Washington Post’s Robert Costa reported that Donald Trump was seriously considering retired general Michael Flynn as his vice-presidential nominee. The report sent the political media into a minor tizzy, culminating in an interview the next day with ABC’s Martha Raddatz, where Flynn revealed himself as pro-choice on abortion (“I think women have to be able to choose … sort of, the right of choice … They are the ones that have to make the decision because they’re the ones that are going to decide to bring up that child or not.”).
I think women have to be able to choose … sort of, the right of choice … They are the ones that have to make the decision because they’re the ones that are going to decide to bring up that child or not.

The next day, Flynn tried to recover by labeling himself a “pro-life Democrat” whose mother was an anti-abortion activist, but then wandered back into a swamp by suggesting the Supreme Court had for the time being resolved the issue. Then he made matters infinitely worse by saying that people who viewed the abortion issue as the most important priority for America should just stay home and let others decide the election.

Flynn on Gay Rights
On the gay issue, hey, you know what, if people love each other, Jesus, I mean, come on,” Flynn told San Diego KOGO radio’s Morning News. “I’m not afraid of it. That’s my point. And I’m not afraid to tell you what I believe in.

Military Career
A lot of reporters and other civilians found Mike, as everyone called him, refreshing. A plucky Irish Catholic kid from Rhode Island, he wasn’t impressed by rank. He told his junior officers to challenge him in briefings. “You’d hear them say, ‘Boss, that’s nuts,’ ” one former colleague said. The colleague asked not to be named, as did others I talked to for this story, either because they wanted to maintain a positive relationship with Flynn or because they did not want to criticize the incoming Administration. “When he would walk in a room, they would look up like little dogs. They just loved him.”
Flynn broke rules he thought were stupid. He once told me about a period he spent assigned to a C.I.A. station in Iraq, when he would sometimes sneak out of the compound without the “insane” required approval from C.I.A. headquarters, in Langley, Virginia. He had technicians secretly install an Internet connection in his Pentagon office, even though it was forbidden. There was also the time he gave classified information to nato allies without approval, an incident which prompted an investigation, and a warning from superiors. During his stint as Mullen’s intelligence chief, Flynn would often write “This is bullshit!” in the margins of classified papers he was obliged to pass on to his boss, someone who saw these papers told me.
The greatest accomplishment of Flynn’s military career was revolutionizing the way that the clandestine arm of the military, the Joint Special Operations Command (jsoc), undertook the killing and capture of suspected terrorists and insurgents in war zones. Stanley McChrystal, Flynn’s mentor, had tapped him for the job. They were both part of the self-described “Irish mafia” of officers at the Fort Bragg Army base, in North Carolina.

Afghanistan
Sarah Chayes, who is now at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, was a special adviser to Gen. Stanley McChrystal, who worked very closely with Flynn, in Afghanistan in 2009. She told Business Insider she shared an office with Flynn for more than a year during this time.
She described a "14-year-old disruptive kid" who often contradicted himself.
"I would put this like — imagine if the kid, the sort of transgressive, fun, energetic, arrogant boy in the back of the class, that that's like who you're working with," Chayes said. "It was very high-energy, it is fun, he's fun to be around, but unbelievably arrogant."
Chayes said that when McChrystal's team, including Flynn, who was a military-intelligence officer at the time, arrived at a NATO headquarters in Afghanistan, they "blasted in basically saying everything was all screwed up."
They said "they were going to, not only they could fix it, they would fix it, but it was like … the implication was very insulting to the entire command and that obviously felt like something that was problematic," she said.
"It was not only the individual officers being insulted, but countries we're in an alliance with ... They had put lots of people and efforts and energy and matériel into this fight," Chayes continued.
Chayes described a person who spoke in constant contradictions.
"You listen to him closely for six or seven minutes and he will have contradicted himself two or three times," she said.

In Afghanistan and Iraq, Flynn ordered jso ccommandos to collect and catalogue data from interrogations, captured electronic equipment, pocket trash—anything that could yield useful information. By analyzing these disparate scraps of intelligence, they were able to discover that Al Qaeda was not a hierarchical group after all but a dynamic network of cells and relationships. As I learned while doing research for my book “Top Secret America,” Flynn and McChrystal dramatically increased the pace of jsoc attacks on enemy hideouts by devising a system in which commandos on missions transferred promising data—cell-phone numbers, meeting locations—to analysts, who could then quickly point them to additional targets to hit. Multiple raids a night became common.
McChrystal, who was appointed to run jsoc in 2003, brought Flynn in as his intelligence chief to help him shake up the organization. Flynn was one of the few high-ranking officers who disdained the Army’s culture of conformity. But McChrystal also knew he had to protect Flynn from that same culture. He “boxed him in,” someone who had worked with both men told me last week, by encouraging Flynn to keep his outbursts in check and surrounding him with subordinates who would challenge the unsubstantiated theories he tended to indulge.
In mid-2007, Flynn returned home with three years of jsoc secrets in his head. He had witnessed close-quarters combat and killings. He had helped load the bodies of dead and wounded Seal Team 6 and Delta Force warriors into evacuation helicopters.

While serving as General Stanley McChrystal’s top intelligence official in Afghanistan, Flynn angered superiors by sharing intelligence with other countries. The Washington Post reports:
Former U.S. officials said he was scolded after traveling to Pakistan in 2009 or early 2010 and revealing to Pakistani officials sensitive U.S. intelligence on the militant Haqqani network accused of staging attacks on American forces. U.S. officials said that the move was aimed at prodding Pakistan to crack down on the militant group, but that Flynn exposed U.S. intelligence capabilities that only helped Pakistan protect an organization it used as a proxy ally.
Flynn also came under investigation by the Pentagon because of an allegation that he had inappropriately shared highly classified intelligence with Australian and British forces. “I’m proud of that one,” Flynn said in an interview. “Accuse me of sharing intelligence in combat with our closest allies. Please!”

Bush Administration
“While JSOC has long played a central role in US counterterrorism and covert operations, military and civilian officials who worked at the Defense and State Departments during the Bush administration described in interviews with The Nation an extremely cozy relationship that developed between the executive branch (primarily through Vice President Dick Cheney and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld) and JSOC. During the Bush era, Special Forces turned into a virtual stand-alone operation that acted outside the military chain of command and in direct coordination with the White House. Throughout the Bush years, it was largely General McChrystal who ran JSOC.”
“Major General Michael T. Flynn assumed duties as the Chief, CJ2, International Security Assistance Force, with the additional appointment as the CJ2, US Forces – Afghanistan on 15 June 2009. Prior to serving in this capacity, he served as the Director of Intelligence, Joint Staff from 11 July 2008 to 14 June 2009. He also served as the Director of Intelligence, United States Central Command from June 2007 to July 2008 and the Director of Intelligence for Joint Special Operations Command from July 2004 to June 2007, with service in Operations ENDURING FREEDOM (OEF) and IRAQI FREEDOM (OIF). Major General Flynn commanded the 111th Military Intelligence Brigade from June 2002 to June 2004. Major General Flynn served as the Assistant Chief of Staff, G2, XVIII Airborne Corps at Fort Bragg, North Carolina from June 2001 and the Director of Intelligence, Joint Task Force 180 in Afghanistan until July, 2002.”
‘I didn’t want to miss my train. The conversation drifted back to public images and profiles. “Everyone has a dark side,” Flynn said, seemingly referring to McChrystal.’
Although no public investigation has ever been conducted into the abuses at Nama, McChrystal reportedly said “This is how we lose,” when he toured the facility for the first time. He assigned his top intelligence officer, then-Brig. Gen. Michael Flynn, to professionalize JSOC interrogations. Flynn reached out to trained interrogators throughout the U.S. bureaucracy and even to around the world to provide instruction.“

Obama Administration
No one could have predicted Flynn’s fall from brilliant military tactician to ex-national security adviser who lied too much for even Donald Trump’s administration. However, Flynn had long had iconoclastic tendencies, and his 33-year military career ended when he was pushed out by the Obama administration. In a hacked email, Secretary of State Colin Powell said Flynn was ousted because he was “abusive with staff, didn’t listen, worked against policy, bad management, etc.,” adding that he’s been “right-wing nutty ever since.”

Pegasus Software Connection
While serving as a top campaign aide to Donald Trump, former national security adviser Michael Flynn made tens of thousands of dollars on the side advising a company that sold surveillance technology that repressive governments used to monitor activists and journalists.
Flynn received $40,280 last year as an advisory board member for OSY Technologies, an NSO Group offshoot based in Luxembourg, a favorite tax haven for major corporations. OSY Technologies is part of a corporate structure that runs from Israel, where NSO Group is located, through Luxembourg, the Cayman Islands, the British Virgin Islands, and the U.S.
Flynn also worked as a consultant last year for Francisco Partners, a U.S.-based private equity firm that owns NSO Group, but he did not disclose how much he was paid. At least two Francisco Partners executives have sat on OSY’s board.
Citizen Lab researchers have also identified texts sent last summer to Mexican journalist Rafael Cabrera that they believe were an attempt to infect his phone with NSO Group’s Pegasus spyware. Cabrera, who now works for BuzzFeed Mexico, was targeted by hackers after he broke a story revealing a potential conflict of interest with the Mexican first family and a Chinese company.
Citizen Lab believes NSO Group may have also sold its mobile phone spying technology to many governments, including those of Kenya, Mozambique, Yemen, Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Morocco, Hungary, Nigeria and Bahrain.

On Sunday, the first in a series of investigations were published involving NSO Group, an Israeli firm. The report focused on how the firm's spyware software, Pegasus, has been used by governments to target world leaders, political dissidents, activists, and journalists around the world.
As new stories about the spyware continue to drop, believers of the vast right-wing conspiracy theory QAnon had their own revelation to deal with:
Michael Flynn has ties to the firm behind the spyware.
Flynn's ties to NSO Group are now well known, thanks to financial disclosure forms.
Back in 2017, Huffington Post reported that Flynn had previously worked as an advisory board member and "consultant" for OSY Technologies, NSO Group’s parent company, as well as its previous owner, private equity firm Francisco Partners. According to the Washington Post, Flynn was paid "roughly $100,000" for his work as a consultant for the companies between 2015 and 2017.
Interestingly, the news of Flynn's involvement with an Israel-based cyberweapons firm in the middle of a huge spying scandal was brought to QAnon's attention by Ron Watkins.

Russia Connection
Several current and former U.S. officials say National Security Adviser Michael Flynn discussed new sanctions imposed on Russia by the Obama administration during conversations with that country’s ambassador in December. That may be illegal, and to make matters worse, it contradicts denials made by senior members of the Trump administration, including Vice-President Mike Pence.
Since Flynn is a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general and director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, he knows that such communications are monitored by the U.S. The New York Times reports that, in light of Flynn’s background, federal officials who saw the transcript were surprised he made the remarks, and even more surprised that the Trump administration publicly denied that sanctions were discussed.

Flynn’s erratic conduct had troubled US intelligence officials for some time, multiple sources have told the Guardian.
One concern involved an encounter with a Russian-British graduate student, Svetlana Lokhova, whom Flynn met on a trip to Cambridge in February 2014.
At the time, Flynn was one of the top US spies and the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), which provides information to the Pentagon about the military strengths and intentions of other states and terrorist groups.
A historian and a leading expert on Soviet espionage, Lokhova has claimed to have unique access to previously classified Soviet-era material in Moscow. She says her forthcoming book makes groundbreaking revelations about Soviet military intelligence operations run by the GRU – Russia’s military spy agency.
Western historians say access to intelligence agency records in Moscow has been severely restricted under Vladimir Putin. One Russian historian who has written extensively on Russian intelligence said the situation with the GRU was “a complete disaster”.
“At least with the FSB and SVR [domestic and foreign spy agencies] there are places you can apply to view the archives, but with the GRU there’s not even a place to apply,” the historian said.
“Maybe two or three military historians have been allowed in. Sometimes there are duplicates in other archives, but getting into the actual GRU archive is basically impossible.”
Flynn and Lokhova were introduced to each other at the end of a dinner attended by 20 guests who included Sir Richard Dearlove – the former head of MI6 – and Prof Christopher Andrew, the official MI5 historian.
Flynn says the meeting with Lokhova was “incidental” and lasted just 20 minutes. However, Andrew has said Flynn invited Lokhova to accompany him on his next official visit to Moscow to help with simultaneous translation. The trip fell through soon afterwards because of Putin’s annexation of Crimea, Andrew wrote in the Sunday Times.
Lokhova also listed Flynn as one of four referees who would provide selective endorsements for her book, which is expected to detail how Russian spies penetrated the US atomic weapons programme.
Though there is no suggestion of impropriety, Flynn would have been expected to “self report” any conversation with an unknown person, especially with links to an “adversary” country, such as Russia. Lokhova has informed us that she does not have privileged access to any Russian intelligence archive and there is no suggestion that she has ever worked with or for any of the Russian intelligence agencies.
Flynn did not disclose his conversation with Lokhova, the Wall Street Journal reported. Whatever concerns the US intelligence agencies had over Flynn, he retained his top-level security clearance.
Price Floyd, a spokesman for Flynn, said: “This is a false story. The inference that the contact between Gen Flynn and a Russian [dual] national described in this story should be seen in any light other than incidental contact is simply untrue.”
Archive Copy: https://archive.ph/9Cmbp
US intelligence officials had serious concerns about Michael Flynn’s appointment as the White House national security adviser because of his history of contacts with Moscow and his encounter with a woman who had trusted access to Russian spy agency records, the Guardian has learned.
US and British intelligence officers discussed Flynn’s “worrisome” behaviour well before his appointment last year by Donald Trump, multiple sources have said.
They raised concerns about Flynn’s ties to Russia and his perceived obsession with Iran. They were also anxious about his capacity for “linear thought” and some actions that were regarded as highly unusual for a three-star general.
The Guardian understands Flynn and Lokhova remained in email contact, conducted through an unclassified channel. In one email exchange described by Andrew, Flynn signed himself as “General Misha”, Russian for Mike.

During the 2016 campaign, Flynn was critical of Trump’s praise for Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom he called a “a totalitarian dictator and a thug who does not have our interests in mind.” But he said he agreed that the U.S. should try new approaches to dealing with Russia. He’d done so several years earlier while serving as the head of the Defense Intelligence Agency. Per The New Yorker:
In 2013, Flynn arranged a trip to Moscow to speak to a group of officers from the G.R.U., Russia’s intelligence agency, about leadership development. His decision to go was a controversial one. Flynn believed that there were opportunities to find common ground with Russia. But Steven Hall, the C.I.A.’s chief of Russia operations at the time, was skeptical. “He wanted to build a relationship with his counterparts in the G.R.U., which seemed, at best, quaint and naïve,” Hall told me. “Every time we have tried to have some sort of meaningful coöperation with the Russians, it’s almost always been manipulated and turned back against us.”
Several months later, shortly after Russia annexed Crimea. Flynn still tried to invite senior G.R.U. officer to the U.S., but he was shut down by his superiors.
After retiring from the military Flynn formed a consulting company, Flynn Intel Group. Democrats on the House Oversight and Foreign Affairs committees have accused Flynn of failing to disclose a trip to Egypt and Israel in June 2015 on behalf of a U.S. company he was representing. His mission was to gauge interest in a joint U.S.-Russian program (financed by Saudis) to build more than two dozen power plants in the region. Flynn remained involved in the project through the end of 2016, as he was working for the Trump campaign and transition, and sitting in on his classified briefings.

Chalet Reports has concluded that Michael Flynn, currently under charges by Special Counsel Robert Mueller for purportedly “lying to the FBI,” was a keystone in a well-laid plan by the CIA, along with others in the US and Five Eyes “intelligence community,” to frame Donald Trump for “Russian collusion” before the presidential election, and to use the maliciously false Russian “connections” to defeat him, if possible, or to overthrow him in the then-unlikely event that he was elected President of the United States.
Whether Flynn was a witting operative for the Deep State—which he had been an important part of as Director of the US Defense Intelligence Service—or whether he was used, unwittingly, as a piece in the game by his former associates to ensnare Trump as candidate, and then President Elect, is impossible to say, but the weight of the evidence we have accumulated militates toward a conclusion that Flynn was, to some degree, a willing participant.

Flynn also worked as a consultant to Cambridge Analytica — a fact he failed to disclose until this last August. We don’t have proof that all these figures were acting together. But it certainly appears that Cambridge Analytica was heavily involved with trying to get Clinton’s stolen emails, and was aware that Russia had engineered their theft, and played an important role facilitating cooperation between Russia and the Trump campaign.

Trump Campaign Consultant
On November 18, 2016, Flynn accepted Trump's offer for the position of National Security Advisor. During their meeting in the Oval Office two days after the election, Obama expressed "profound concerns" about placing Flynn in a sensitive, high-level national security post, and warned President-elect Trump against hiring Flynn. On January 4, 2017, Flynn informed transition team counsel Don McGahn, soon to become the White House Counsel, that he was under federal investigation for secret lobbying work he had done for Turkey during the campaign.
Flynn was asked in February 2016 to serve as an adviser to the Trump campaign.
In July 2016, it was reported he was being considered as Trump's running mate; Flynn later confirmed that he had submitted vetting documents to the campaign and, although a registered Democrat, was willing to accept the Republican vice-presidential nomination if chosen. However, Trump instead selected Indiana Governor Mike Pence.
On August 16, 2016, the FBI opened a case on Flynn as part of its Crossfire Hurricane investigation. The purpose of the investigation was to find out if Flynn was knowingly or unknowingly "involved in activity on behalf of the Russian Federation which may constitute a federal crime or threat to the national security" of the United States.

Trump Administration
On February 13, Flynn resigned as National Security Advisor, writing that he had given "incomplete information" of his conversations with Kislyak. Flynn's 24-day tenure as National Security Advisor was the shortest in the 63-year history of the office. Before Flynn's resignation, he told the Daily Caller that, in his conversation with Kislyak, he told Kislyak he was aware of the expulsion of the 35 Russians, and that: "We'll review everything."
On February 14, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said Trump had asked for Flynn to resign, "not based on a legal issue, but based on a trust issue", due to "misleading the Vice President and others, or the possibility that he had forgotten critical details of this important conversation", which "created a critical mass and an unsustainable situation".
Later, in December 2017, President Trump said he "had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI", noting that Flynn had "pled guilty to those lies". Also in December 2017, Vice President Pence said that by the time Flynn departed the Trump administration, "I knew that he lied to me." Pence also said Trump "made the right decision" to remove Flynn.

On Dec. 2, 2020, the disgraced retired general tweeted a full-page ad that ran in The Washington Times that claimed extraordinary executive actions were necessary to avoid the alternative of an imminent “shooting civil war.” Two weeks later, Flynn elaborated on cable television, stating that President Trump could declare martial law and order the military to seize voting machines in a number of states, then rerun the Presidential election, presumably allowing Trump to remain in power.

FVEY: The Five Eyes Network
Chalet Reports has concluded that Michael Flynn, currently under charges by Special Counsel Robert Mueller for purportedly “lying to the FBI,” was a keystone in a well-laid plan by the CIA, along with others in the US and Five Eyes “intelligence community,” to frame Donald Trump for “Russian collusion” before the presidential election, and to use the maliciously false Russian “connections” to defeat him, if possible, or to overthrow him in the then-unlikely event that he was elected President of the United States.

Michael Flynn‘s connections with Russia had been carefully manufactured and documented by the time he managed to get into the Trump campaign as “adviser,” as this report describes, and he unquestionably had his own ties to Stefan Halper and Richard Dearlove.
The evidence is overwhelming that there was a concerted long-running effort by the CIA, the “intelligence community,” and the Five Eyes to covertly taint Donald Trump—once removed, through a covey of “advisers”—with gossip and “dirt” that could be used, they thought, to prevent Trump from ever becoming President of the United States, and, in the then-unlikely event that he somehow did become POTUS, could be used to smear him and bring him down.

Meuller Investigation
On Thursday, newly unredacted court papers show that Michael Flynn told the special counsel’s investigators that people with links to the Trump administration and Congress contacted him in an attempt to interfere in the Trump-Russia investigation. The filing from Mueller’s office is reportedly the first “public acknowledgment that a person connected to Capitol Hill was suspected of engaging in an attempt to impede the investigation,” per NBC News.
Court papers revealed Thursday say that Flynn “informed the government of multiple instances, both before and after his guilty plea, where either he or his attorneys received communications from persons connected to the Administration or Congress that could’ve affected both his willingness to cooperate and the completeness of that cooperation.”
According to the documents, Flynn even provided a voicemail recording of one such contact. “In some instances, the [special counsel] was unaware of the outreach until being alerted to it by the defendant,” Mueller wrote in a December 2018 memo.

Flynn, 63, has used public appearances to energize voters, along with political endorsements to build alliances and a network of nonprofit groups — one of which has projected spending $50 million — to advance the movement, an investigation by The Associated Press and the PBS series “Frontline” has found. He has drawn together election deniers, mask and vaccine opponents, insurrectionists, Proud Boys, and elected officials and leaders in state and local Republican parties. Along the way, the AP and “Frontline” documented, Flynn and his companies have earned hundreds of thousands of dollars for his efforts.
Last October, Flynn was the star attraction at the WeCANAct Liberty Conference, a gathering in Salt Lake City for Utah’s Platform Republicans PAC.
The program included dozens of speakers and exhibitors talking about a grab bag of ideas and causes that have seized and panicked the right — about vaccines, human trafficking, elections and the QAnon conspiracy theory.
One of Flynn’s companies, Resilient Patriot LLC, was paid $58,000 by the conference. An AP and “Frontline” review of state and federal campaign finance filings documented nearly $300,000 in payments to Flynn and his businesses from candidates and political action committees since 2021, for things such as speaking fees, travel, book sales and campaign consulting. (Florida congressional candidate Laura Loomer reported paying his company $1,100 in May for public relations services.)

In 2020, the Flynn family video seemed to many like just another example of that embrace. In the Fourth of July post, Mr Flynn and five of his family members, including Jack and Leslie, recite the oath to the United States Constitution typically taken by members of Congress. The family then tops it off with the phrases “God bless America” and “Where we go one, we go all”.
The oath part of the video may seem innocent enough, but in fact, the wording of it exactly matched the text of a pledge posted by Q a few weeks earlier, followed by the acronym “WWG1WGA” – an abbreviation for “Where we go one, we go all.” In the post, Q demanded that followers “take the oath”.
The idea that the two oaths were unrelated struck some as disingenuous.
“I’m not a lawyer, but it’s bizarre to see anyone argue that the ‘Digital Soldier Oath’ doesn’t signify support for QAnon or isn’t an oath,” Travis View, who hosts a podcast about QAnon, wrote on Twitter.

1/6/2021 “Stop the Steal” Rally
Before

On January 5, Michael Flynn gave an interview to Alex Jones at an unknown location, though video of the interview strongly suggests it was the Trump International Hotel. Not only the picture frames, wall coloring, and light fixtures match those of publicly available pictures of Trump International guest rooms, but far more importantly—and persuasively—Flynn and Jones repeatedly reference “demonstrations” and “protests”happening “right outside the window” (Flynn), with Jones noting (while pointing out the window) that Flynn is “about to give a big speech to this million-person crowd.”At another point Jones asks Flynn rhetorically, “Can you not feel the energy outside [the window]?” Flynn says, “These people [points toward the window] are modern-day patriots”, thereafter remarking, “the patriots that are standing out there [he points out the window] know that we won.”
In his January 5 speech—with a Stop the Steal flag waving behind him—Flynn states that “we should as Americans not accept this [election]”, and repeatedly returns to scenes of American military forces engaged in violent combat in the cause of freedom. His sordid address culminates in an unmistakable incitement to violence on January 6:
“One of the great things about being an American is our culture. In our DNA, we feel freedom, we bleed freedom, and we will sacrifice for freedom! It is not something that can be taken for granted…[remember the] various revolutions, the various things our country has experienced in our history. We cannot take anything that has come before us for granted. This country is awake! Tomorrow, trust me, the American people that are standing on the soil that we are standing on tonight—and they’re going to be standing on this soil tomorrow—this is soil that we have fought over [and] fought for and we will fight for in the future.”
Video of Flynn’s approximately ten-minute address can be found at this link, or below:
Flynn’s speech is followed by remarks from George Papadopoulos (who quickly offers his personal thanks to Flynn) and Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne. Byrne says, “Get the Patriot Party going, the People’s Party,” echoing Flynn’s grim prognostication that the future of the republic may not lie with the Republican Party or the Democratic Partybut a “People’s Party.”

…Stop the Steal and Jericho March movements—the two far-right entities that choreographed and funded the events that led to the January 6 insurrection. (Note: Jericho March is a far-right Christian nationalist organization and movement founded after the 2020 election, with former Trump National Security Advisor Michael Flynn one of its most prominent adherents. A December 12 Jericho March event in DC had ended in violence, yet the radical group nevertheless decided to hold identical events in DC on January 5 and January 6, the latter scheduled to coincide with Trump’s speech.)

Roger Stone, Steve Bannon, and retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn all participated in efforts to promote the Jan. 6 "Stop the Steal" event that ultimately devolved into a riotous and deadly melee at the United States Capitol, leaving five dead and causing Trump to become the only president to be impeached for a second time.
While none of them spoke at the actual rally, Stone whipped up a crowd of Trump supporters in Washington the night before, telling them the president's enemies sought "nothing less than the heist of the 2020 election."
"And we say, No way!" Stone said at the Jan. 5 rally.
Flynn promoted the so-called "Jericho March," a rally of Christians to "pray, march, fast, and rally for election integrity," according to the group's website, that also took place on Jan. 6 in the shadow of the Capitol. In the weeks leading up to the event, Flynn told his supporters that they would "need to be fearless as Americans."

It is likely that both got that idea from Caroline Wren, a Republican fundraiser who helped organize the Ellipse event. Jones texted Wren at 12:27 p.m., asking when he should leave the Ellipse and begin the march. While Wren originally expected Jones, Roger Stone, and retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn to march to the Capitol, Stone did not attend the Ellipse rally and so he was not present to accompany Jones on the march as planned. Additionally, while President Trump was delivering his speech, Wren asked Flynn if he was going to march with Jones. Flynn responded, “Hell, no. It’s freezing.”
While Stone and Flynn did not march, Jones and Alexander led others to the Capitol, though it is not clear how many people followed them.
At 12:19 PM on January 6, Alexander asked Wren to give him updates every five minutes on Trump’s progress. In response to the question about the text, Alexander bullshitted a bit until he explained, simply, that Wren was at the Ellipse.

Michael Flynn’s Brother’s Role in 1/6/2021
In regards to the Inspector General’s 2021 report, Loudermilk said the report concludes that the leader of the National Guard response, Maj. Gen. William Walker, received two orders from then U.S. Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy to deploy troops to the Capitol, once at 4:45 pm and again at 5:00 pm.
Walker denies that either of these calls took place,” Loudermilk said. “Despite the many inconsistencies and contradictions of the DOD’s responsibility that day, the select committee on January 6th ignored these discrepancies despite them being shared privately by their own staff and barreled forward with the DOD’s side of the story.
The hearing comes after the oversight panel published a never-before released transcribed interview from Trump’s former White House deputy chief of staff Anthony Ornato, which showed that the former president offered 10,000 National troops to secure the Capitol. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D-Washington D.C.), however, rejected the call.
Loudermilk said the now-defunct January select committee withheld Ornato’s “critical witness testimony from the American people because it contradicted their predetermined narrative.”
Colonel Earl Matthews accused two senior officers of the army, Gen. Charles Flynn and Lt. Gen. Walter Piatt of lying to Congress and federal investigators about why it took so long to deploy the National Guard.
“That DOD IG report is replete with incorrect, false information,” Matthews asserted.

Flynn’s Satanic Prayer?
Flynn’s Plan?
Sarasota attorney Ron Filipkowski, a longtime Republican activist, told the Associated Press that this latest move was just part of Flynn’s larger plan. “He’s going to build this grassroots movement, local elected officials beholden to him, loyal to him,” Filipkowski said.

The article also quotes Steve Bannon, the Rasputin-like figure of American populism, as saying, “I think Mike [Flynn] could well be on the list of candidates for vice president in 2024. And if President [Trump] doesn’t run, I firmly believe Mike will run.”

I heard a chilling comment the other day: “We don’t even know if an election will be held in 2024.”
That wasn’t said by a conspiracy theorist or a doomsday prophet. No, former national security advisor Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn said that to the founder of The Western Journal, Floyd Brown.

One Religion
Flynn, who was subpoenaed last week by the House select committee investigating the January 6 attack, made the comment during a speech to a conservative Christian audience on the ReAwaken America tour in Texas this weekend. “If we are going to have one nation under God, which we must, we have to have one religion,” he said. “One nation under God and one religion under God, right? All of us, working together.”

Is Flynn a Grifter?
Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn's family fundraised for his legal defense fund from QAnon supporters and then kept the extra money once his lawyers were paid off, according to new court filings unsealed in a defamation case.
The court documents — filed by CNN as part of a defamation lawsuit brought by Flynn's wife, Lori, and sister-in-law, Valerie, against the network — cite deposition by Flynn's sister, Barbara Flynn Redgate, who was a trustee of Flynn's legal fund.
Semafor first reported on the unsealed documents.
Lori and Valerie Flynn allege that in 2021 CNN defamed them by airing a clip it said was of Flynn taking an "oath" connected to the QAnon conspiracy theory while his family members stand beside him with their right hands raised.
The unsealed court documents were part of CNN's attempt to have the defamation case tossed.
Flynn Redgate, who oversaw donations to Flynn's legal fund, agreed in testimony that she "didn't mind taking money from people who [used QAnon] hashtags" as long as they were "directing [people] to the legal defense fund," the court documents state.
"Barbara testified that, once legal fees were paid, the Flynns themselves received the remainder of the funds," the filing from CNN says.

Ex-QAnon Supporter
Michael Flynn, the disgraced former national security adviser-turned-QAnon hero, dismissed the conspiracy movement as “total nonsense” and a CIA-run disinformation campaign, according to audio of a phone call with pro-Trump lawyer Lin Wood that was posted online over the weekend.
“Flynn, ultimate master spook,” Craig Longley, a leading QAnon influencer known as IET, wrote on his Telegram channel, dismissing Flynn’s comments as a distraction. “[He] will never admit to being a part of Q or knowing anything about it. Trump neither.”
Many QAnon followers conducted similarly complex mental gymnastics so they could continue to view Flynn as a hero working hand-in-hand with former President Trump to unmask the global satanic child sex trafficking ring that is being run by the Democrats and Hollywood elites.
But even so, it’s difficult to read Flynn’s comments as anything but a complete dismissal of the entire QAnon movement, even though Flynn’s own accusations of CIA involvement are based on pure speculation.
“I think it’s a disinformation campaign,” Flynn tells Wood in the audio Wood posted on his Telegram channel late Saturday night. “I think it’s a disinformation campaign that the CIA created. That’s what I believe. Now, I don’t know that for a fact, but that’s what I think it is. I think it’s a disinformation campaign.”

LtG Flynn was a military man from a military family. From my research, it appears Gen. Stanley McChrystal, a Clinton-Biden supporter, enhanced Flynn’s career by taking him under his wing as part of the “Irish Mafia” at Fort Bragg. That relationship would endure.
There is some question as to whether Flynn, a Demo☭rat when Trump hired him, played a willing role in the creation of the Russia Collusion hoax. I leave it up to the reader to reach their own understanding in that matter.
Then there is the January 6, 2021 incident in which the Stop the Steal Rally played a prominent role. Flynn was deeply involved in Stop the Steal. And while he was not part of the crowd that marched on the Capitol, there is a linkage that cannot be denied. Did Flynn help plan the Capitol intrusion? It is a possibility.
Flynn has been less than a model soldier, with his insubordination being document and him apparently being protected from the consequences of his actions. The same could be said of his Presidential pardon. That it was Flynn’s actions that got him in trouble, not something Trump did or asked to be done.
Then we have that bizarre Claire Prophet prayer he mirrored. And his demand for a one nation religion, yet supporting gay rights and abortion rights. Weird for an Irish Catholic. But then again, so was his tenure at Golden Gate University, the college Satanist Michael Aquino taught at, in the city the Temple of Set was located.
I believe in coincidences. But a pattern of coincidences seems more like evidence than just happenstance.
I leave it to the reader to reach their own conclusions. But we were warned.
